Epica drummer Arien van Weesenbeek needs to get a grip -- seriously. Earlier last month, while the Dutch metal band was performing in Milan, Italy, singer Simone Simons was hit in the face with a drumstick that apparently slipped out of the timekeeper's hands, Blabbermouth.net reports. When Epica head to North America later this year to promote Requiem for the Indifferent, their just-released fifth album, fans with front-row seats are advised to keep their eyes peeled for low-flying sticks.
